She describes her experience for the first time bringing the issues of gender discrimination into the open by giving an interview on Prime Time to Rajdeep Sardesai, after she is threatened by the administration and trolled on social media rape threats. She talks about her experience as a student and how it changed for women in the campus. She is also talks of how issues faced by girl students found space within the larger student concerns of the BHU. She provides a complete overview of the campaign that began with the movement for library and translated into demanding gender justice in BHU
